The USB3-84* range of USB 5Gbps Type A (male) to Type A (male) cables support a data transfer rate up to 5 Gbit/s (625 MB/s), which is about ten times faster than USB 2.0 technology.
The official name for this cable would be USB 5Gbps. (Previously known as USB3.2 Gen 1, USB3.1 Gen 1 and USB 3.0.)
This is a Type A to A cable; it is designed to connect a Host to a Device. These cables are often used to connect a Host computer to a faceplate with a Type A socket.
