Extremely Wide Speed Range

Building up on the success of the P14 PWM, the P14 Max extends the controllable speed to an impressively wide range from 400 rpm up to 2800 rpm. This enables a quiet operation when low airflow is needed and also an unprecedented level of performance on heatsinks and radiators. The P14 Max provides a significant performance boost to existing air and water cooling solutions.

Maximum Performance – Without Compromises

The P14 Max delivers focused airflow and high static pressure, making it suitable for all scenarios. The fan is optimised for use on radiators, heat sinks, pinholes and mesh. Therefore, the P14 Max is the ideal fan for enthusiasts and professionals who are looking for maximum performance with a long service life.

0 dB Mode – Zero rpm

The fan speed can be throttled down to standstill via PWM. This allows silent operation in IDLE and at the same time guarantees maximum performance when required. Thus, the P14 Max allows an incomparably dynamic adjustment of the speed, so that the airflow can be perfectly regulated for every case.

Improved Stability

The P14 Max features a closed fan wheel design. The advantage of this fan wheel combination is a pressure stability without compromise. In scenarios with high pressure resistances and higher speeds, the force effect is distributed uniformly over the entire fan wheel and enables low-vibration rotation while maintaining high static pressure.

Maximum Smoothness, Minimum Vibration

Even at low speeds the operating sound of the new ARCTIC motor is barely noticeable. Due to a sinus-magnetizing the new motor only creates about 5 % of the vibration from commutation of a regular DC-motor without filter. The rubber pads mounted at the corners additionally dampen the residual vibrations caused by the higher revolutions.

Virtually Silent due Fluid Dynamic Bearing

As a special feature, the P14 Max is equipped with ARCTIC’s proven Hydrodynamic Bearing. This enables the virtually silent operation at low speeds that customers have been asking for. At maximum speed, brute performance is still guaranteed. Although these bearings tend to wear out, ARCTIC does not compromise on durability and still offers the 6-year warranty.

Ideal for Small Spaces

Unlike standard 140 mm case fans with a thickness of 27 mm, the P14 Slim PWM PST has a mounting depth of only 16 mm. This makes it the ideal choice for Small Form Factor (SFF) builds. Corresponding screws for mounting on a radiator are already included.

Optimised for High Static Pressure

Because the fan design of the P14 Slim PWM PST is optimised for focused airflow, it generates high static pressure. The fan enables extremely efficient cooling and good airflow — even with increased air resistance. This makes the P14 Slim PWM PST particularly well-suited for use on concealed case intakes, dust filters, radiators, and generally in small cases that have little space for free airflow due to compactly placed hardware.

Maximum Quietness, Minimum Vibration

The operating noise of the newly-developed ARCTIC motor is barely perceptible, even at the lowest speed. Thanks to its special magnetization, the motor of the P-fans generates no start-up jerks and only a fraction of the commutation vibrations of a conventional DC motor. As a result, there is far less vibration on the housing at different speeds and no need for rubber buffering or additional decoupling.

Improved Service Life

The new ARCTIC motor generates significantly less frictional heat than its predecessors and current competitor models. As a result, coil temperature is reduced by up to 20 degrees, quadrupling service life, while reduced frictional losses ensure more efficient operation.

120 to 1800 rpm Controlled via PWM PST

With a wide speed range and innovative PWM Sharing Technology (PST), the P14 Slim PWM PST’s fan speed can be controlled in sync with other fans. ARCTIC’s PST fans come equipped with their own built-in daisy-chain solution, and, in addition to the plug-in connector, have another socket to which an additional fan or up to four other PST fans can be connected in series.

High-Quality Sleeve Bearing

Thanks to a combination of alloy and lubricant developed in Germany, friction within the bearing is minimized and greater efficiency is achieved. In addition to preventing lubricant loss, wear on the pin and sleeve is also reduced to a minimum. Less heat is developed, less bearing noise is generated and the life of the fan is extended significantly.

0dB Mode — Zero rpm

The speed of the P14 Slim PWM PST can be throttled down to a standstill via PWM. This allows efficient and silent PC operation in idle while guaranteeing maximum performance on demand.

Versatile Use

The P14 Slim PWM PST allows customisable installation in the case. It can both suck in cool air as an Intake fan and push out warm air as an Exhaust fan. The fan also offers both push and pull installation options on the radiator.

During the development of the new P14 PWM PST CO, special emphasis was placed on a focused airstream and thus a high static pressure. The fan guarantees extremely efficient cooling, even with increased air resistance. Therefore, the P14 PWM PST CO is particularly suitable for use on heatsinks and radiators.

More Efficient Technology

The motor is powered by a PWM IC of the newest generation, which allows the new P14 PWM PST CO to run much more efficiently than its predecessors. This saves energy without compromising the performance.

For Continuous Operation

The premium quality Japanese dual ball bearing allows continuous operation 24/7 without the slightest compromise in performance. Dust and high temperature are affecting this bearing a lot less than generic sleeve or one ball bearings and thus make it the perfect choice when reliability is essential.
